Alex Mitchell
I’m Alex, Founder of AMHR.
Starting in Retail HR, I progressed my career as an in-house professional for Hospitality businesses. I have over a decade's experience working in and then leading HR teams in small, medium, and large businesses (from 10 to 1,000’s of employees), managing all things People.
As well as being a member of HR teams, I have enjoyed working as both a freelance consultant, and within a consultancy team over the last few years. I love meeting new people, partnering with operations, getting to know teams, and tackling all elements of HR.
With a first-class Masters degree in Business Psychology, 12 years of HR experience, and many more on the hospitality and retail front line, I take a sensible, operational, and straightforward approach to any people issue.
